Yesterday, March 19th 2015, the Student Alliance for Mental Health decided to dedicate a day to "To Write Love On Her Arms" in respect to self-harm awareness month.
TWLOHA is non-profit movement dedicated towards presenting HOPE and finding help for those who struggle with depression, self harm, addiction, and suicidal thoughts. They want to encourage, inspire and invest in treatment and recovery for both men & women. For more information on this organization visit http://twloha.com/.
We know that people need other people. We were never meant to live life alone. We had great response, with several people at Carleton University proudly wearing "LOVE" on their arms to demonstrate the support, compassion and love we have for those who are struggling.
